Found in Brgy. Tambobong, Boacue, Bulacan, the Sweet & Fit Stevia Farm is a 2-hectare demo farm over to visitors with over 100 plots planted with at least 200 hills of Stevia each. The farm is by the Department of Tourism as an agri-tourism destination.
Visitors of the Sweet & Fit Stevia Farm can see the interesting ins-and-outs of growing Stevia properly. They can see how Stevia is grown organically in beds covered with plastic mulch as well as how cuttings are rooted in black nursery bags in a greenhouse. The tour is also educational as visitors will be able to learn about the different uses of the Stevia leaves and the powder produced from the spray-drying process. Last but not the least, visitors will also be able to taste the food products that utilize Stevia as an ingredient.
